My years of active duty were spent in ship design, construction, operations, and overhaul. This included destroyer type tours as Chief Engineer/Assistant and Repair Officer on a nuclear certified destroyer tender. Two tours were at naval shipyards that overhauled destroyers, aircraft carriers, and nuclear submarines. MIT graduate studies centered on the propulsion systems of ships. RICHMOND CONSULTING GROUP was formed in 1996 as a sole proprietorship with minimal overhead. MOST RECENT ASSIGNMENTS have been providing asbestos exposure analyses for Navy/commercial crews and shipyard workers. Practice has included more than seventy-five cases with law firms nationwide. Engagements include document research and analysis, notarized reports, and preparation for deposition and trial testimony.
