Dr. Abu-Zahra is double board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) in general pediatrics and pediatric hospitalist medicine and is a fellow of the American Association of Pediatrics (FAAP). Dr. Abu-Zahra graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency at University of Maryland in Baltimore. He works in an academic children's hospital and a community hospital with newborn nursery, inpatient pediatrics and ER consults. Furthermore, Dr. Abu-Zahra works full time as a hospitalist in a tertiary care academic center and half time as an outpatient pediatrician in a clinic affiliated with a family residency program.
