Dr. Mehta is an academic burn surgeon and Burn Medical Director of the burn center at Brigham and Women's Hospital which has been verified by the American Burn Association. She is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care and fellowship trained in Burn surgery. Her clinical and academic interests both focus on burn injuries and other injuries to the skin and soft tissues, including both acute management and management of long term sequelae (eg burn reconstruction and scar management).
