I have over 25 years of experience in both family medicine as well as wound care. I started working in a hospital-based wound clinic in 2010 and became full-time wound care in 2011. I have been accredited/certified by the American Professional wound Care Association 2012 (FAPWCA), the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing 2013 (FAPWHc), the American Board of Wound Healing 2012, Council for Medical Education and Testing 2012 and the additional board qualification with the American Board of Osteopathic Physicians in Hyperbaric and Diving Medicine 2012. I have practiced wound care in multiple settings such as clinic, hospital, home and nursing homes since 2010 with experience as Director of Wound Clinic.
