Dr. Christopher M. Worsham uses epidemiologic and econometric methods to perform large database research on causal associations, physician behavior, resource utilization, and health care policy as a faculty member of Harvard Medical School. He is also a practicing pulmonary and critical care physician at Massachusetts General Hospital and applies evidence-based medicine in his provision of health services and evaluation of scientific questions in health care settings. Dr. Worsham has particular research interest in the intensive care unit, for which he has received a career development grant award from the Agency for Healthcare Research in Quality. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including The New England Journal of Medicine, The BMJ, and JAMA Internal Medicine.
