Dr. Field is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and has a master's degree in Forensic Science. His practice spans more than 30 years with experience and training in medical emergencies, trauma, stab wounds, gunshot wounds, motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, broken bones, police use of force, and injury care. Dr. Field, a Reserve Deputy Sheriff, serves the Sacramento County Sheriff SED (SWAT) team as a medical control officer. He has small arms training and previously held a federal firearms dealer license. Dr. Field also serves the California Medical Board as an Expert Consultant and Reviewer.
