Causal Inference Based on Epidemiologic Evidence

Epidemiology
-
Environmental health, Reproduction, Pregnancy
I have extensive experience in conducting, publishing, and evaluating epidemiologic research on a wide range of topics. I have been particularly involved with studies of environmental toxicants and in study of reproductive health outcomes. I have developed and applied methods for assessing causal effects based on epidemiologic data and have applied those skills in a number of legal cases. I am able to address a range of exposures, including medications, nutrients, and health services in relation to a wide variety of health outcomes, including cancer, reproductive health, and chronic diseases.
My expert witness experience has included a balance of work for plaintiffs and defendants, and has included written reports, depositions, and court testimony. As an epidemiologist, I address general causation using appropriate scientific methods which I am able to explain and defend.
