Dr. Eric Fuchs currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Exercise & Sport Science and a Professor in the Master of Science in Athletic Training at Eastern Kentucky University. He previously served the athletic training program director for eight years and oversaw the transition from a B.S in Athletic Training to the Professional Master’s in Athletic Training. He previously served as program’s clinical education coordinator. Dr. Fuchs also serves periodically as guest lecture and has served as an adjunct faculty in the EKU Emergency Medical Care program. Dr. Fuchs is currently an adjunct faculty member for Florida International University’s Doctor of Athletic Training Program. Dr. Fuchs is currently certified as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician by the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) and is a Kentucky licensed AEMT. Mike served 10 years with FEMA (then FEMA/DHS till 2004). He worked in critical infrastructure, safety, health and security. Fagel was deployed to the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995, and deployed to the World Trade Center Attacks in 2001 for the US Department of Justice. He was an SME for the US Army at SBCCOM in Aberdeen,MD.
