These publications and presentations have addressed optics, glaucoma, cataracts, uveitis, pterygium, oculoplastics, and retinal disease. I was recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor from 2007-2010 and 2015-2016, and in 2000 I was awarded the King Leon of Armenia Medal of Honor for care of an injured soldier. I served as Chairman of Ophthalmology at Weiss Memorial Hospital for many years, where I maintained a private office while providing hospital consultations and emergency room coverage.
