CREDENTIALS AND METHODOLOGY
My academic work comprises more than 70 papers, articles, textbook chapters, and lectures. These publications and presentations have addressed optics, glaucoma, cataracts, uveitis, pterygium, oculoplastics, and retinal disease. I was recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor from 2007-2010 and 2015-2016, and in 2000 I was awarded the King Leon of Armenia Medal of Honor for care of an injured soldier. I served as Chairman of Ophthalmology at Weiss Memorial Hospital for many years, where I maintained a private office while providing hospital consultations and emergency room coverage.
I am board certified in ophthalmology and completed fellowships in oculoplastics and cataract surgery.
