I have been practicing for 34 years in both clinical and academic settings. In the past 10 years I have reviewed approximately 100 cases involving potential claims of malpractice. I have additionally been involved in multiple federal cases involving FQHC's as well as False Claims Act claims. General Practice Residency Director for 16 years. Clinical practice for 34 years. I have provided both plaintiff and defense testimony in numerous depositions. I will provide certificates of merit/good faith certificates for all cases reviewed. I provide unbiased, reasoned and evidence-based assessments of dental claims based on my decades of experience as a practicing dentist, instructor and medical-legal dental consultant.

Dr. Lehrer received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Florida in 1984, and after associating as an associate in private dental practices, established a partnership in a dental practice in 1988. As a Member of the Academy of Sports Dentistry and a former college athlete, Dr. Lehrer philanthropically involved himself in the community by providing oral cancer screenings and fabricating protective mouth guards for all of the Nova Southeastern University athletes. Dr. Lehrer has been an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine since January 2002 in the departments of Cariology/Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery and a member of the American Dental Education Association. I have enjoyed the art and science of dentistry for 39 years. During that time I have been devoted to improving my craft by attaining Fellowship and Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. Additionally, I have completed a surgical mini-residency in Implantology at Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry as well as the AAID Maxi-course in Implantology. I have lectured nationally and internationally on Risk Management in Dentistry, Digital Dentistry, CAD/CAM Dentistry, Dental Implantology and Ethics in Dentistry. I am currently Chief Dental Officer at Otis Air National Guard Base on Cape Cod and have been deployed for the Air Force as Officer in Charge of Task Forces during the COVID-19 pandemic.
