My work focuses on decision-making capacity in guardianship and related proceedings, competency to stand trial, and mental state at the time of the offense. I also perform independent medical examinations and provide consultation to attorneys regarding the strengths and limitations of opposing expert opinions. My evaluations are grounded in standardized neuropsychological testing, with embedded and stand-alone validity measures to assess effort and response style. I integrate test data with clinical interview, record review, and collateral information to form opinions that are objective, reproducible, and directly tied to the legal question at hand.
