He graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry, & attended Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed an internship at Mount Auburn Hospital-Harvard Medical School affiliated program, & a radiology residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, FL, where he was Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Crapp has been a leader on several non-profit boards and is vice president of the Florida State Medical Association (National Medical Association).
