Mr. Carlile is currently President of the Carlile Consulting Group. Founded in 2021, The Carlile Consulting Group is an expert witness and consulting practice specializing in law enforcement databases such as the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), the Interstate Identification Index (III), and The International Justice & Public Safety Network (NLETS) databases. During his 45+ year career Mr. Carlile has testified as an expert witness in various Federal, U.S. Immigration, and State Courts on the correct operation/use of these databases.
Prior to his retirement in 2021 Mr. Carlile was a GS 14 Training Specialist for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) assigned to its Criminal Justice Information Service Division (CJIS). He served as the NCIC External Training Team Lead and had program responsibilities for all NCIC Training provided by the FBI to Federal, State, Territorial, Tribal and local criminal justice agencies.
