Dr Condie was trained in adult, child and forensic psychiatry from 1983 until 1989 at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Mental Health Center. In addition, during his forensic psychiatry fellowship he was a visiting fellow at Harvard Law School under the sponsorship of Dr Alan Stone and Dr Thomas Gutheil. He has practiced child and adult psychiatry as well as forensic psychiatry in Massachusetts for 42 years including his training, and has served as President of both the New England Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society. He is the Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society.
He serves as Lecturer part time at Harvard Medical School through an affiliation with the Cambridge Health Alliance Department of Psychiatry where he participates in the Complex Child Case Review Committee and offers individual supervision as well as forensic consultations.
