Dr. Miller has over 25 years as a practicing hospitalist, including 11 years as medical director overseeing teams as large as 80 hospitalists. His practice experience is in hospitals ranging from 50 to over 500 beds. He has extensive experience in leading quality improvement, detailed and objective evaluation of physicians’ performance as well as developing standards of practice and communication between hospitalists, specialists and non-physician staff. He also has facility with verbal presentations ranging from physicians to laypersons and is happy to provide reviews in either defense or plaintiff cases.
