I have been caring for infants, children, adolescents and young adults with complex cancers and blood disorders for just over 25 years. This has necessarily included caring for patients who have complications, both expected and unexpected. In my time at Cleveland Clinic, I directed our fellowship training program and our comprehensive sickle cell clinic. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to the education of fellows, residents and medical students, currently an associate professor of pediatrics. For 20 years, I participated as a faculty member for the Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Board Review Course, covering content related to all facets of pediatric hematology and oncology.
