I am a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over 14 years of clinical experience. My clinical practice spans diverse emergency department settings, including community hospitals, trauma centers, and academic medical centers. I provide expert witness consultation in criminal and civil matters and have worked with public defense as well as private counsel. I have consulted on over 50 cases involving assault, domestic violence, strangulation, child abuse and torture, DUI, murder, and manslaughter, as well as medical malpractice cases involving a wide range of conditions including arterial dissection, ischemic limb, chronic wounds, rib fractures, and necrotizing soft tissue infection. I have additional training in the evaluation of strangulation. My services include medical record review, standard of care analysis, causation assessment, written reports, deposition, and trial testimony as needed.
