I am a Biomedical Engineering PhD with multidisciplinary training in Chemistry and Medicine. I received a Bachelors in Neuroscience and Chemistry from Johns Hopkins in 2018 and then a Masters in Materials Chemistry in 2019. My research and expertise from Johns Hopkins included Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Neuroscience, Biochemistry and Biology. I then started an MD-PhD program at SUNY Downstate. I have completed the Biomedical Engineering PhD and two of the four years of medical school. My Biomedical Engineering PhD and medical coursework has given me expertise in Anatomy and Physiology (I am an Adjunct Professor at CUNY for this course), Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Biosensors, Instrumentation, Device Fabrication, and Biomaterials.
