I have served as an expert witness/consultant in plastic surgery since 2008, originally for the Department of Health/Florida Board of Medicine , reviewing standard of care for both reconstructive and cosmetic cases. Since opening up my expert witness practice to private cases, I have opined for both plaintiff and defense attorneys. I have extensive experience with Medical Staff issues, and have been on Medical Executive Committees for most of my 29 years of practice. I have served as Chief of Staff, Vice Chief of Staff, and Secretary/treasurer of the Medical Staff, as well as Behavioral Committee Chair and Medical Review Committee chair, which exposed me extensively to the review of physicians.
