Christopher A. Sarkiss, MD, FACS, FAANS, FCNS is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with a subspecialty focus in neurosurgical oncology and spine. Dr. Sarkiss is the Founder and Chairman of the Global Brain & Spine Institute. He specializes in the treatment of complex, minimally-invasive brain and spine surgery. Dr. Sarkiss graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Political Science. Thereafter, he attended the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA for medical school graduating with honors. He then joined the Department of Neurosurgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City to complete his neurosurgical residency. Afterwards, Dr. Sarkiss completed a surgical neuro-oncology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami Health System.
