As a board-certified neuropathologist, my primary area of expertise is in the gross and microscopic presentations of a wide variety of nervous system diseases. Through my clinical work and numerous collaborative projects with researchers at CCHMC and other institutions, I’ve had the opportunity to examine thousands of brain tissue samples from both surgical and autopsy procedures. I’ve authored / co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals (case reports / series, and basic and translational research), as well as multiple review articles, book chapters, and an atlas on pediatric brain tumors.
