Aazaz Haq, MD, is a psychiatrist with certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both geriatric psychiatry and general adult psychiatry. Dr. Haq completed his undergraduate education, medical school, and residency training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He subsequently completed a two-year advanced fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at UCLA. He is currently a staff psychiatrist and director of neuromodulation at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Hospital. Recently, he worked for four years as the attending inpatient geriatric psychiatrist at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Hospital and an affiliated clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at Stanford University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. His forensic interests relate to financial elder abuse and questions of financial capacity.
