Dr. Vicente Martinez is a intraoperative neurophysiologist with over a decade of clinical and academic experience in intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM), including more than 6,000 brain, spine, and peripheral nerve procedures. He holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and completed a clinical fellowship in IONM at the University of Washington, where he currently serves as Associate Professor/Neurophysiologist in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Dr. Martinez’s expertise includes real-time interpretation of somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEP), motor evoked potentials (MEP), electromyography (EMG), and brainstem auditory evoked potentials (BAEPs) during neurosurgical and orthopedic procedures.
