Mr. Doucette has a unique background combining 15 years as an active trial lawyer with 25 years in the insurance industry. He spent time as an adjuster, a claim manager, litigation supervisor, Vice-President of Claims/Legal, COO and ultimately CEO of a diverse group of insurance companies. His legal background was focused on insurance related matters, and included significant work in the area of Professional Liability, including Agents and Brokers Liability. He is past chairman of the DRI Agents and Brokers Liability Committee. Mr. Doucette retired from the insurance industry in 2012 and opened his consulting practice at that time. In addition to a strong background in the area of claims handling and bad faith, Mr. Doucette is an excellent communicator. He is a past instructor in trial practice at Marquette law School, and a past instructor in the CIC program(Certified Insurance Counselor). During his legal career he was a frequent lecturer and author of numerous articles on various topics.
