Extensive overseas experience, including 2 tours in Afghanistan. Former Green Beret medic and light weapons expert– HALO and SCUBA qualified. PhD in Human Genetics, with over 25 years’ experience in medical research, with an emphasis on human gene discovery and bacterial biofilms and their role in human health. Trained in Pediatrics, Massachusetts General Hospital, Otolaryngology, University of Florida, and fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Over 300 national and international scientific presentations and meetings organized, with over 150 peer-reviewed papers and chapters. Professor, Otolaryngology, Microbiology & Immunology, Drexel University College of Medicine, and Professor, Otolaryngology and Microbiology, Temple University School of Medicine. Former President of Allegheny Singer Research Institute and reviewer for the National Institutes of Health, with experience in research disputes and authorship issues. Licensed in PA and FL.
