I am a Board Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. I have over 30 years of clinical experience. I practice both Medical and Surgical Ophthalmology, licensed in Florida. My medical school education was at New York Medical College, where I was a Mosby Scholar, and elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. Initial Residency training was two years of Internal Medicine, followed by Ophthalmology Residency at the Downstate Medical Center. My practice has been in Florida for my entire career, with extensive exposure to high pathology. Surgery is at One Day Surgery, an Ophthalmology specific Out Patient Center. In addition to the clinical practice, I do Disability File Reviews for a large Insurance Company (between 50 and 75 reviews). I have been deposed multiple times as an expert witness, and also have been involved in a Malpractice Claim that was subsequently dropped, after depositions. I have not however been involved in a court room situation. I am married, with grown children. I stay active, exercise regularly, non smoker. I continue to work at my practice between 3 and 4 days a week, performing surgery 2 or 3 mornings a week. I consider myself a Clinician with good communication skills, rather than an Academician. I am available to review cases and for depositions/trials for either the plaintiff or defendant. My goal is to provide an ethical service, and will work diligently with either Plaintiff or Defendant attorneys to obtain just resolution of claims.
