Diane has worked in multiple roles and capacities in nursing facilities including dietary aide, nursing assistant, staff nurse, Infection Control Nurse, Staffing Coordinator, Staff Development Coordinator, Nurse Aide Trainer, Wound Management Nurse, Unit Manager, Care Plan Coordinator, MDS Coordinator, Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing. While she was Director of Nursing, her facility achieved a Deficiency Free Annual State Department of Health Survey and her facility also was granted an “Excellence Award” by the company she worked for recognizing the survey achievement as well as meeting criteria including financial management of the facility. Diane has worked over 29 years in a multi-facility nurse consultant role to manage regulatory compliance, hire and train new Directors of Nursing, provide training to Wound Care Nurses, Staff Development Nurses and Staffing Coordinators. Her largest territory included 12 facilities with responsibility for over 1800 beds. Diane consults to cases including wounds/bedsores, falls, abuse, medication administration, ventilators, assessments, care planning, and the implementation of interventions to promote the quality of care and quality of life to the geriatric population.
