Board Certified Pediatrician with over 40 years’ experience providing pediatric care to tens of thousands of children in high volume clinical and emergency room setting in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Weinraub has consulted for the Edmund Edelman Children’s Court of Los Angeles County for Dependency Court Judges, providing medical care for reportedly physically or sexually abused and /or neglected children in over 1000 cases. Dr. Weinraub has mentored and trained over 300 pediatric residents, and has served as voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the UCLA and USC Departments of Pediatrics. He serves on the Los Angeles County Superior Court Approved Panel of Expert Witnesses, "730 Panel," providing expertise regarding child abuse to both prosecutors and defense attorneys. Dr. Weinraub has extensive testifying experience at both deposition and trial. He has been qualified as a pediatric and child abuse expert in courts in the States of California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Georgia. He has been called upon to offer expert opinions regarding the standard of care involving physicians who treat children and who assess and/or diagnose child abuse, including emergency room physicians, pediatricians, child abuse pediatricians, and family practitioners.
