I have served on the ANSI A14 Ladder Safety Committee since 1995 and currently Chair the Mobile Ladder Stands and Mobile Ladder Stand Platforms Sub-committee. In addition, I serve on the Executive committee which reviews and votes on all ladder-related standards in the A14 family, the A14 Steering Committee, the Labeling Task Force and the Ladder Accessories Sub-committee. I have an extensive background in the Bowling Industry having served my Mechanical Engineering internship with the Brunswick Corp. Automatic Pinsetter division. I have also had ownership interest in two Chicagoland bowling centers. I have performed mechanical and electrical maintenance on Automatic Pinsetters since 1974 in addition to having provided instruction to several dozen apprentice mechanics in the operation of the Pinsetter and related bowling equipment and continue to do so today. I continue to provide expert witness and consulting services to both major bowling equipment manufacturers including Brunswick and Qubica/AMF for a variety of safety-related incidents that have occurred in bowling centers throughout the United States. My testifying experience includes approximately 140 depositions and 35 trials involving a variety of Mechanical Engineering safety-related topics.
