Nurse Clarkson has extensive experience providing rehabilitation services for patients across their life span. She worked as a bedside nurse in both adult and pediatric acute care settings. Additionally, she has been employed as a nurse practitioner since 2017, providing rehabilitation management for children and young adults with disabilities. Nurse Clarkson has expertise in cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury, cardiac rehabilitation, transplantation, birth injury, and neurodevelopmental disabilities. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Seton Hall University, master’s in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, and Doctor of Nursing practice from the University of Pittsburgh. Nurse Clarkson is certified as a Nurse Life Care Planner through the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners.
