Ian Cull, CIH, PE is the Founder and Chief Science Officer of Indoor Science. Mr. Cull is an internationally recognized expert and has been hired to work on mold and indoor air quality projects in over a dozen different countries around the globe. He has served as the National Technical Director of the Indoor Air Quality Association and authored the book "Fundamentals of Mold Remediation". Mr. Cull has served as an expert witness on multiple federal cases related to mold and indoor air quality. He has served as an expert for both plaintiff and defense. Mr. Cull has helped clients on over 7 figures of settlements and verdicts as a testifying and/or consulting expert. His cases involve single-family homes, offices, and multi-family buildings. Ian Cull is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and licensed professional engineer (PE). His degree is in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1996). Mr. Cull has over 20 years of experience consulting on mold and indoor air quality issues in a wide range of building types and climates. Mr. Cull has taught over 10,000 of his peers as a training provider for the Indoor Air Quality Association and American Industrial Hygiene Association. He has developed entire curricula including the Indoor Environmentalist Course, Microbial Investigator Course, and the AIHA's CIH Review Course. Mr. Cull developed the IAQA University and contributed 50 classes on a wide range of topics including indoor air quality, mold, VOCs, building science, HVAC, indoor environmental assessments, sampling, and mold remediation. Ian Cull is active in several professional organizations including IAQA, ISIAQ, ASTM, AIHA, and ASHRAE. Mr. Cull has been hired by federal agencies including NASA, the State Department, US Navy, US Army, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
