Dr. Roman Dudaryk has been a practicing anesthesiologist and intensivist for over 12 years. He is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Director of Quality at the University of Miami in one of the largest anesthesiology departments in the country. His clinical practice is at Ryder Trauma Center, a leading trauma and acute care hospital where he specializes in resuscitation and care of the most severely injured and critically ill patients in the operating room and intensive care unit. Dr. Dudaryk holds board certifications in anesthesiology, critical care medicine, and perioperative transesophageal echocardiography. He has completed anesthesiology residency training at the University of Miami and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Duke University. He is an expert with national and international recognition in the areas of trauma anesthesiology, difficult airway, resuscitation, blood transfusion, coagulopathy, and alarm fatigue. He is an author of multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading journals. Dr. Dudaryk has extensive speaking and consulting experience. He was invited to speak annually at the American Society of Anesthesiology and International Anesthesia Research Society Meetings. He is a committee member of the Anesthesia Quality Institute, exam developer for the American Board of Anesthesiology, and a consultant for the Department of Defense.
