Dr. Lerner is a physician licensed in Florida and Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She completed her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine and her residency at Tufts New England Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident. She served 4 years in the US Air Force. Dr. Lerner has 35+ years of clinical experience including busy inpatient and outpatient settings. She served for many years as the Medical Director for Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and Stroke Programs providing the full continuum of care from acute to long term follow up, and from mild to catastrophic injuries. Dr. Lerner has also treated patients with amputation, musculoskeletal disorders, chronic pain, multiple trauma, neuropathy, arthritis, MS, and many other conditions that may cause a functional limitation or restriction. Over the years, she has provided assistance on numerous legal cases and insurance disability determinations. She analyzes medical records in detail and performs telehealth evaluations for IME/CME, making determinations of damages, disability, future needs for life care planning, functional capacities, permanency, vocational capacity, and lost wages assessment.
