Mr. Jaussi has a unique combination of expertise as an aircraft accident investigator, an engineer, and a pilot. He has more than 20 years of experience in aviation and has participated in more than 100 aircraft accident investigations, including manned and remotely piloted aircraft. He is currently an engineering director at an aerospace manufacturer, overseeing the investigation of aircraft accidents, urgent field anomalies, field bulletins, and failure trending. He previously was a pilot specialist and aircraft accident investigator for AvSafe, LLC, and the Aviation Safety Program Manager for the flight training department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott campus. He also served as the Aviation Safety Officer in two U.S. Navy flight squadrons. Mr. Jaussi is a former U.S. Navy pilot and instructor pilot, flew for a major airline, and is a current general aviation pilot.
