Dr. Vacanti is a board certified cardiologist with over 10 years of clinical experience, first as an internist, then as a cardiologist specializing in management of coronary artery disease, cardiac rhythm abnormalities, congestive heart failure, valvular heart disease and preventive cardiology. He is presently a full time cardiologist at a large Level 1 trauma center and serves as the Director of an Echocardiography and Noninvasive laboratory. He has completed medical school at the University at Buffalo with Thesis Honors and has completed internal medicine residency as well as cardiovascular diseases fellowship at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Vacanti's special interests include noninvasive cardiac imaging including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT. Dr. Vacanti cares for a variety of patient conditions pertaining to all aspects of heart and cardiovascular disease in both private office and hospital settings. Dr. Vacanti is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is a member of several professional committees.
