Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) certified and bilingual (native fluency in Farsi) Dr. Souris has expertise in workplace violence prevention and threat assessment. She has offered over 20 expert witness testimony in employment litigation/psychological fitness-for-duty evaluations with peace officers, safety sensitive and civilian positions in civil service hearings, trial and deposition. Dr. Souris has extensive teaching (former assistant clinical professor at UCLA School of Medicine and adjunct faculty at Pepperdine University) and public speaking experience. Additionally Dr. Souris has worked with US State Department in training of foreign evaluators. She also performs psychological screenings and risk assessment evaluation and offers comprehensive and timely psychological reports. Furthermore, Dr. Souris is qualified as a CA Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) evaluator.
