Dr. Jeremy Abbott graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2000. Following dental school, he practiced general dentistry in Oregon and Arizona. He then completed a two-year postdoctoral program in Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine at UCLA in order to pursue his interests in TMJ and sleep apnea management. Dr. Abbott specializes in orofacial pain which includes non-surgical TMJ therapy, oral sleep appliances, treatment for headache, neck pain, and chronic dental pain. His dental practice is limited to orofacial pain management and dental sleep medicine in Bethesda, MD. He is a clinical instructor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and he maintains hospital privileges at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Abbott has published multiple peer reviewed articles in the areas of TMJ disorders, headaches, and facial pain. He lectures nationally and internationally on the topics of TMJ disorders and facial pain.
