Mr. Levy was Managing Director, Real Estate Finance Group, Chase Manhattan Bank. He has had transactional and managerial responsibility for real estate and construction lending in every region of the United States; commercial banking; underwriting; valuation and consulting; urban development; leasing, property acquisition and disposition; loan restructurings and workouts; and asset management, leasing, and sale of foreclosed real estate assets. He served as senior member of the Credit Committee. Mr. Levy was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Real Estate and Corporate Services Division of Chemical Bank. He supervised real estate and construction activities in forty countries in Middle East, Africa, Asia, and North/South America and in thirty five American States. He was formerly Senior Vice President of Merritt & Harris, a national real estate and construction consulting firm. Previously, he was Director of Valuation and Consulting for the Alexander Summer Co., a full service real estate firm. He started in urban redevelopment. Mr. Levy served as Adjunct Professor at New York University where he taught real estate finance, credit and risk management, and negotiation and dispute resolution. He is a graduate of Columbia and Harvard Universities and Executive Program taught by Faculty of Harvard Business School and Yale School of Management. He is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute, Counselors of Real Estate, and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Appraiser. Mr. Levy is an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and has served as a neutral in a wide range of real estate, construction and commercial disputes. He has been a guest lecturer at Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Wharton, Columbia, Cornell, MIT, and Dartmouth. His writings on real estate and arbitration have been widely disseminated. He was a participant in the National Security Seminar at the U.S. Army War College.
