Dan Schreiber is an experienced aviation and severe weather meteorologist and United States Air Force veteran. Dan has been consulted as a weather expert for nearly a decade, advising top military commanders of approaching mission-impacting weather, partnering with emergency personnel during severe weather outbreaks, providing in-depth aviation forecasts and weather observations for hundreds of thousands of military flights, and has led advanced aviation weather instruction for countless certified pilots. In the private sector, Dan has been consulted and hired as a forensic meteorologist and expert witness in several legal and insurance battles involving Category-5 hurricane destruction, aviation accidents involving multiple fatalities, downed power-line deaths, property storm and flood damages, high-profile construction equipment incidents, commercial insurance litigation, commercial trucking accidents, and more. Dan also sits on a local Emergency Preparedness Committee in Southwest Texas, partnering with emergency managers and first responders at local, state, and federal levels to ensure severe weather readiness and safety. He has been a guest speaker on numerous occasions at business leadership meetings and non-profit organization functions, and has led multiple severe weather preparedness classes for countless organizations and governmental agencies. He is also a member of the American Meteorological Society & the Windstorm Insurance Network.
