Dr. Fulbright is a seasoned neuropsychologist with extensive experience in the neuropsychological evaluation and cognitive rehabilitation of brain injury other neurological disorders. He earned his doctoral degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas (now UT Southwestern Medical Center) in 1985 after completing training in clinical psychology and the first pre-doctoral training fellowship in clinical neuropsychology offered at that institution. He entered full-time private practice in 1987, which he has maintained continuously since then. Dr. Fulbright has served on the faculty of the UT Southwestern Division of Psychology and Department of Rehabilitation Counseling (1988 - 2018). Dr. Fulbright has served as an expert witness since opening his private practice in 1987. Since then, he has testified over 300 times in deposition and live trial as an expert witness in personal injury litigation, criminal cases, and testamentary capacity matters. His expert testimony has been accepted in both state and federal courts, and he has testified in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, California, North Carolina, , and Nebraska. He is licensed to practice psychology in Texas and New Mexico. He is well-versed in the scientific foundation of neuropsychology and current literature in the areas of acquired brain injury and cognitive rehabilitation. Dr. Fulbright has continuously provided clinical services to brain injury patients and their families since 1985. Dr. Fulbright also underwent training as a life care planner and held certification in this field (CLCP) for five years. This experience allows him to provide relevant and supportable data to life care planners. His 31 years of experience as a testifying expert have refined his understanding of his role in legal proceedings, the responsiveness of his testimony, his respect for the decorum of the courtroom, and his ability to communicate effectively to juries. He welcomes both plaintiff and defense work.
