Ms. Latham is a Bachelor's prepared Registered Nurse who has dual certifications in the specialty practice of life care planning. (CLCP, Certified Life Care Planner and CNLCP, Certified Nurse Life Care Planner). Her company has been devoted to life care planning for catastrophically injured people since 2003 on a national level. Her life care planning services have been established for: Spinal Cord Injuries, Acquired Brain Injuries, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Birth related injuries, (Cerebral Palsy, Brachial Plexus), Burns, Amputations, Poly-trauma, Ototoxicity, Cancer and chronic health care needs. She has developed life care plans and testified in both the state and federal courts for individual cases and Multi-State Litigation. Ms. Latham maintains an active membership to professional organizations pertaining to life care planning: IARP, IALCP, AANLCP. Not only is she an active member of these organization and attends continuing educational programs, but also works diligently on committees and task forces within those professional organizations toward planning of international summits and conferences, research projects establishing role and function studies, consensus statements and standards. Ms. Latham serves as Chair of the International Commission on Health Care Certification Certified Life Care Planner Board of Commissioners as well as the ICHCC Executive Board. She has co-authored peer reviewed articles published the Legal Nurse Consultant Journal and Journal of Life Care Planning. She participates in the ethics committee to provide a quarterly ethics interface piece in the Journal of Life Care Planning. Ms. Latham has presented at local, national and international conferences for life care planners and attorneys. Ms. Latham serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Life Care Planning Program Capital Law Program as an instructor and served as Adjunct Faculty in the past for the University of Florida/Intellicus Life Care Planning Program.
