Robert Wolf, PE has spent his career as a power and controls engineer in Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Industrial and Utility industries. His career began designing building electrical systems working closely with architects, and it later evolved into heavy industrial substation and control system design - primarily refineries and chemical plants. Recently, he has spent his time working for electric utilities designing both Transmission and Distribution systems, designing protection schemes and investigating events. He has taken special interest in the area of Human Performance Improvement where he strives to understand why incidents occur, and how Human Performance Tools and Techniques can be used to prevent future incidents. In addition to being familiar with American building codes, National Electric Codes, and NFPA Codes, he is also familiar with and had responsibility for compliance for various NERC PRC and CIP standards. Robert is a Senior Member with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a Member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).
