Michael Baldwin has specialized in the valuation and market analysis of seniors housing and healthcare properties since 2005. Mr. Baldwin stays directly in touch with the senior housing and nursing care market by visiting hundreds of properties each year to interview on-site management and has personally toured thousands of senior housing and long-term care properties across almost every state in the U.S. He has led the development of thousands of appraisals and market studies nationwide for lenders, developers, investors, and operators. Mr. Baldwin is a national speaker on the seniors housing and long term care industry and has participated as both guest and lead speaker in front of national audiences in person at industry conferences and via webinars. He has also taught webinars regarding the valuation of healthcare real estate as part of his role as a subcommittee member of the Healthcare Special Interest Group of the American Society of Appraisers. Michael also served his local community as an appointed Appraiser Special Magistrate in Miami-Dade County where he presided over hundreds of property tax appeals as a neutral judge between property owners and the county assessor's office.
