Dr. Cumbo is Vice President (Chief of Staff) of Medical Affairs at a Joint Commission accredited full-service hospital responsible for aspects of physician activity and medical staff issues from a hospital administration standpoint. Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the subspecialty of infectious diseases, he addresses aspects of both domestic and international infectious disease, inpatient and outpatient, infection control and prevention, and travel medicine. Dr. Cumbo’s background includes international clinical and research experience as well as teaching positions. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Jacobs School of Medicine.
