Aazaz Haq, MD, is a psychiatrist with certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both geriatric psychiatry and general adult psychiatry. Dr. Haq completed his undergraduate education, medical school, and residency training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He subsequently completed a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at UCLA. He owns a private practice called McLean Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center. He recently worked as the director of neuromodulation at the Philadelphia VA Hospital, prior to which he was an inpatient geriatric psychiatrist at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Hospital and an affiliated clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at Stanford University. His forensic interests relate to financial elder abuse and questions of financial capacity and vulnerability to undue influence.
