Dr. Alonso J. Osorio-Giraldo, M.D. was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia. A Foreign Medical Graduate who has been in medical practice now for 21+ successful years. He is a graduate of the Universidad Industrial de Santander, Colombia, in December 2001, and immigrated to the USA more than 24 years ago with the dream of becoming a physician trained in North America.
Initially, he trained at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Family Medicine from 2003 to 2006, was in private practice for 2 years, and went back for a second residency training in Emergency Medicine from 2008 to 2011 at the University of South Florida / Tampa General Hospital.
He currently holds the credentials of Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), and Board Certification in Family Medicine (ABFM), and is proudly a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, The American Academy of Family Physicians, and The American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
