...As a Medication Assistance Treatment (MAT) provider, I obtained my X waiver through the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certified to manage opioid dependent patients within a multidisciplinary program including prescribing Suboxone. As part of my duties within our facility, I also serve as a Clinical Associate Professor in Family Medicine overseeing, teaching and guiding medical students. This opportunity in providing tutelage to future physicians is an extrapolation of my previous passion in lecturing as a high school science teacher before going to medical school. I have served as an expert witness since 2021, providing objective, evidence base opinions on breach of duty, causation and damages. I am willing to opine on both plaintiff and defendant medical malpractice cases, give deposition statement when asked and testify in court if needed.
