In addition, he has been an Affiliate professor at both Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and the University of Washington School of Dentistry. ...Russo was born and raised in the California Central Valley, graduated from Merced High School, and attended UC Berkeley studying psychology, neuroscience, and pre-medical studies. Prior to matriculation to medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center-Fort Worth, he also worked in public health at the Sonoma County Health Department. After completing concomitant degrees in medicine, public health, and clinical research he moved on to graduate medical training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic. Finally, he finished his training in Pain Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine before relocating to Hood River.
