Mr. Baumgarten has 40+ years of experience in the fitness and sports industry, including working as a personal trainer, program manager, business owner, facility designer, equipment salesperson, etc. He is a Harvard graduate with a Masters degree in Exercise Science as well as certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (Health-Fitness Director), National Academy of Sports Medicine, and as a Medical Exercise Specialist. He has been an adjunct professor at Marymount University; editorial Board member and columnist for Fitness Onsite magazine; and a columnist for Boardroom magazine. Dr. Wolpov has practiced in the physical therapy industry for over 30 years, and she specializes in the outpatient orthopedic setting. In 2002, Dr. Wolpov founded “Game Shape Physical Therapy & Fitness Center”. Game Shape is a Rehabilitation Network Participating Location with the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in Physical Therapy. In 2005, Dr. Wolpov began consulting as an Expert Witness in the physical therapy and fitness industries. She has handled over 85+ cases for both plaintiff (60%) and defense (40%), writing expert opinions, and testifying at depositions and in court. Her other expert consulting services include: litigation consulting, research and investigation, documentation auditing, independent PT examinations (IMEs), and consulting in standards of care. Professor Heraghty currently serves as Academic Chairperson of Health & Physical Education at SUNY Suffolk. Prior to this role he was the Fitness & Aquatics Director and Head Lacrosse Coach at Suffolk. He is a Certified Playground Safety Inspector credentialed by the National Recreation and Park Association and is also certified by the National Program for Playground Safety. He currently serves on the Sports Equipment, Playing Surfaces, and Facilities committee with American Society for Testing and Materials International (ASTM). Professor Heraghty specializes in Risk Management Programs for various types of sports, recreation and fitness activities as well as the preparation of expert opinions for both plaintiff and defendants, in conjunction with recreation and sport personal injury cases.
